I haven't seen much chatter here about it, but they both seem kind of insane: 16 channel processors with Dirac Live, and the HTP-1 is supposedly going to be under $4k. The ATI looks like a slimmed down version of RS20i; with the Emotiva RMC-1 being a bit of a mess, this seems like an interesting time in the processor space…

Is there reason to believe one would sound better than the other, especially on stereo music? I believe the Emotiva will run Dirac at 96 vs 48 so that's a point in the Emotiva's favor.
